This is Rachel writing here! This weekend Cana and I went to Jaco which is the closest beach to San Jose. We arrived with the expectation that this would be a more 'touristy' town and we were not disappointed. :) However, we still very much enjoyed our AirBnb which accommodated all 13 girls that went and thoroughly loved spending time with them. The people that are in our cohort are just so great and precious! All of them are so fun, kind, and care very much about how their lives impact others, now and in the future. It is truly such a joy to be able to study abroad with them!
We journeyed out to Jaco by bus and just returned by the same route this morning (although with much more heat this time!) Cana and I continue to find value in the struggle of the classes and the difficult topics we are discussing. Please continue to pray for us as we discern how God wants us to apply what we are learning into our lives in the future.
